White Hall, Great Wakering. Home of Alfred Wedd 1779-1887, inherited by his nephew Edward Arthur 1844-1925. The Wedds are described as 'squires' of Great Wakering. White Hall no longer stands, though a modern road bears its name.

Little Wakering Hall in Essex. Home of Aubrey Wedd 1885-1945 and his wife Charlotte 1887-1977. Muriel Tidman nee Wedd and her family spent many holidays there.
