Noughts Party, 1978

On 16th July 1978 a 'Noughts Party' was held in the garden of 54 Heath Road, Petersfield, for ten family members who reached 'nought' ages in that year - from Eileen Mackarness, aged 90, to Jamie Sibcy, aged 0.  About fifty relatives attended.

Peg Goodman and Michael Booker both read out poems written specially for the occasion.  The cake had a panel for each of the 'noughts'.

A commemorative album was given to Eileen after the party, and is still in her family.

Eileen wrote an autobiography specially for the Noughts Party, which can be found on the Biographies page.
